Book Review – Zombie Fallout

I’m a huge fan of zombie books, comics, and movies.  I recently read the first book of the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufo.  Titled Zombie Fallout, I wasn’t sure about this book since it was a free Amazon download.  I’ve read a few good books that were free on Amazon, but I’ve read many others that were a waste of my time.  I almost quite reading this book after the first 2-3 chapters.  First, the zombies are caused by a bad flu vaccine.  Being a person of science, I didn’t like the message this sent regarding vaccines that save lives across the world.  I also didn’t like the first person narrative.  I was very close to putting this book down and giving up, but I pushed on for another chapter and I’m glad I did.

I LOVED this book!  It’s a different look at zombies as the zombies have a bit of intelligence.  As the book continued I couldn’t put it down.  I plan on purchasing and reading the other books in the series at some point.  If you’re a fan of zombie books, definitely check out Zombie Fallout.  If it drags a bit in the first couple of chapters, keep pushing on.  I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

To top it off, zombies have a biblical connection.

“And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.” – Matthew 27:51-53

Yes, there were zombies in the Bible!  🙂
