Book Review – Why There is No God

It’s been awhile since I’ve reviewed an Atheist themed book, but it’s also been awhile since I’ve read one.  I recently finished reading “Why There is No God:  Simple Responses to 20 Common Arguments for the Existence of God” by Armin Navabi.  Navabi is the founder of the Atheist Republic community and knows his stuff.

This is a short book that is easy to read.  I love the structure of discussing each of the twenty common arguments for the existence of God and how each is then debunked.  I had previously heard of each of these arguments before, but Navabi provides tools for debunking these when talking to Christians pushing them to prove God’s existence.

If you’re looking for a good book on debunking Christian arguments but aren’t looking for a 900 page novel, this is the book for you.  I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
