Psalms – Chapter 45: For the director of music. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of the Sons of Korah. A maskil. A wedding song.

Let’s jump right into Psalms 45.

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.” – Psalms 45:6

It’s a throne made by man that is quickly eroding away as ever increasing numbers of young people have no religion.

“You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” – Psalms 45:7

Wait, is this verse describing God or Satan?  I see no evidence in the Bible God loves righteousness and hates wickedness.  In fact, I see plenty of evidence for the opposite!

“Daughters of kings are among your honored women; at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.” – Psalms 45:9

Yes, honored women you sell into slavery and allow to be raped.

“Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.” – Psalms 45:11

Yes, you lack a penis, therefore you must bow down to a man.

“In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her—those brought to be with her.” – Psalms 45:14

And those companions are soon to be raped as God wills it.

“Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king.” – Psalms 45:15

More like fear and terror.

“Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land.” – Psalms 45:16

For women are less than men and can never replace their fathers and lead.

A one word summer of Psalms 45.  Misogyny.
