Psalms – Chapter 84: For the director of music. According to gittith. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

Monday’s look into Psalms was rarity of agreement!  The Bible actually said a few good things about the rich being greedy!  Is the Bible taking a turn for the better?  LOL!  Come on, don’t be that gullible!  😊  Let’s see what Psalms 84 has in store for us.

“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty!” – Psalms 84:1

We never see this god, let along his dwelling place!

“Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.” – Psalms 84:4

No, they are not.  They are likely dead because God violently killed them.  There are so many silly rules that no one can make it into God’s make believe living quarters.

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;” – Psalms 84:10

Given the raping and murdering at the hands of God, I’ll take a thousand days elsewhere!

“Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.” – Psalms 84:12

Or dead.  Many who trusted in God found themselves killed by God.

That concludes Psalms 84.  David spends the chapter saying how great God is and how blessed one can be if only one truly follows God.  Unfortunately, the Bible says otherwise.

Coming Soon:  Psalms – Chapter 85:  For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
