Today is not our last chapter in Psalms, but our last chapter for a few days as we next move to 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles for a few chapters.
“The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.” – Psalm 99:1
True, according to the Bible. This god rules by fear and unjustly punishes the people of the land. This god is a horrible parent guilty of extreme child abuse.
“The King is mighty, he loves justice—you have established equity;” – Psalm 99:4
ROFL! Again, a direct lie proven by the actual actions described in the Bible. There is no justice and there is no equity.
“Lord our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds.” – Psalm 99:8
A forgiving God? How many Israelites died due to God’s forgiveness? How many babies and children were brutally murdered? How many women (and men) were raped? And let’s be clear, babies and children committed NO misdeeds to deserve this ‘forgiveness’.
That concludes this chapter of Psalms. God’s forgiveness is death, rape, and destruction. No one deserved this. God is an asshole and far less moral than you or I. In fact, God is the most immoral character in the Bible.
