Psalm – Chapter 108: A song. A psalm of David.

Believe it or not, there are not that many chapters of Psalms left I’ve yet to cover on this blog.  Still more than I like, but there’s a light at the end of this Psalms tunnel.

“For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” – Psalm 108:4

You know the drill by this point.  Is God’s love really great if he demands you fear him as a form of love?

“Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.” – Psalm 108:12

Hmmm….I’d re-write this, based on evidence within the Bible itself, as “Fellow humans, give us aid against the enemy (God), for God’s help is worthless.”  It’s a much better match with the Bible than the actual verse.

This concludes Psalm 108.  Hang in there for a few more chapters.  Well, maybe a bit more than a few.  By my count there are 28 chapters in Psalms to go.  But that is getting close considering there are 150 chapters in Psalms.  Twenty eight is getting close!

Coming Soon:  Psalm – Chapter 109:  For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
