1 Chronicles – Chapter 25: The Musicians

I wish I could say otherwise, but today is another boring chapter in 1 Chronicles.  Last time it was a list of priests.  Today it’s a list of musicians.

“David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals.” – 1 Chronicles 25:1

And that’s it!  The remaining verses are just a list of names of those associated with being musicians.  Aren’t we all glad God had time to name musicians but had no time actually help people?  Sigh.

Coming Soon:  Psalm – Chapter 131:  A song of ascents. Of David.
