Our lessons on sex begin today with the first chapter in the Song of Songs. Let’s jump right in and figure out what this sex thing is all about!
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—for your love is more delightful than wine.” – Song of Songs 1:2
Lesson one. Kiss with your mouth. It’s better than drinking wine. Got it.
“Take me away with you—let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers.” – Song of Songs 1:4
Well that escalated quickly!!! No proposal. No marriage. Just a few kisses and boom, sex in the bedroom!
“Tell me, you whom I love, where you graze your flock and where you rest your sheep at midday.” – Song of Songs 1:7
Nothing is better than sex with your lover with the sheep watching on.
“I liken you, my darling, to a mare among Pharaoh’s chariot horses.” – Song of Songs 1:9
I’m not sure comparing a woman to a horse is a good pick up line.
“How handsome you are, my beloved! Oh, how charming! And our bed is verdant.” – Song of Songs 1:16
Verdant means green with grass or other vegetation, so this verse is a statement to go outside in the grass and have sex.
What an interesting chapter! No need for marriage. Some kisses and straight to the sex. Even better if the sex is outside on the grass while the sheep are watching. LOL! I think I’m going to like this chapter!
