The last chapter provided the wisdom to parents that their secular children are fools. Can this chapter provide more useful ‘wisdom’? Let’s find out.
“Fools find no pleasure in understanding, but delight in airing their own opinions.” – Proverbs 18:2
I agree. It would be nice if Christians, and in particular Christian politicians, read the Bible and followed this verse.
“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” – Proverbs 18:22
So those who choose to remain unmarried are not favored by God? And does the woman have any choice in the matter?
I agree with Proverbs 18:2. It’s interesting that it’s a verse with actual good wisdom, but one Christians often don’t follow. LOL!
