2 Chronicles 9 is a near copy of 1 Kings 10, with the Queen of Sheba paying Solomon a visit.
“When the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame, she came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions.” – 2 Chronicles 9:1
Yes, I’m sure these were hard questions. Probably on par with the ‘hard’ questions Fox News asks Republican politicians.
“Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for him to explain to her.” – 2 Chronicles 9:3
And I guess we’ll never know how hard these questions were.
“King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth.” – 2 Chronicles 9:22
I’ve skipped several verses but all literally describe how rich Solomon is. That’s it. Solomon is rich, rich, rich, rich.
“Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.” – 2 Chronicles 9:30
Forty years in which God approves of the rich getting richer and the men having multiple wives. A book of morals? BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
