Revelation 9:1

It’s Crazy Bible Verse Tuesday and today’s verse looks at some of the bad science in the Bible. As readers well know, the Bible is horrible at getting the science right!

“The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth.” – Revelation 9:1

If a star had actually fallen from the sky to Earth, well, let’s just say Earth would be toast, we’d be dead, and there’d be no ridiculous Bible to read from! 🙂

  1. The specificity of the event is what really amazes me. It’s as though all the detail makes it more believable. Plus, who knew, stars look small only from a massive distance. Regardless, another example of, it takes faith.

  2. It might have been a ‘falling star’ – meteorite. I have a hand-crafted knife, made from one.
More likely, it was just too much sun, possibly aided by some of the many mind-altering things that the desert offers – mescal, qat, loco weed…. 😛
