Introduction to Amos

It’s time to begin a new book in the Bible, Amos. Amos is a prophet (yippee!!!) who today would be considered in desperate need of mental health help, but in biblical times is someone who can see the future. Amos speaks about many of the issues we are still discussing today, such as income inequality and the necessity of doing good. In many ways he was a social justice warrior of his time! At least that’s what wikipedia says about him. 🙂 Let’s find out if this is true. If so, Christians over the ages have ignored him.

Amos is a relatively short book in the Bible with 9 chapters. I’ll go through all 9 chapters and then come back to 2 Chronicles and Isaiah.
