Psalm 109:9

It’s Crazy Bible Verse Tuesday and nothing is more biblical than punishing kids for the deeds of their parents.

“May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.” – Psalm 109:9

Suck it up kid. God punished your dad, so now you don’t have a dad and that’s how God intended it. Also, your own kids, grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandkids, etc. are fucked too. But God loves you!

  1. “Sins of the father is a burden their prodigy should acknowledge but in no way are responsible for. No one picks their parents. Being a participant in the remedy is reasonable and laudable but not requisite. Cultural inequities are a different matter entirely. It becomes the burden of society the seek solutions to the cause and then mitigate the inequities caused by that culture. Having ones heart in the “right place” is not enough when the consequences are still affecting the aggrieved peoples. This is why reparations should be a starting point. Just say’n.“

This was my response to a post that referenced the concept of hereditary guilt. Isn’t it just like some humans. Projecting unwarranted burdens on others. You’d think that a sentiment advocating inherited guilt would have no place in Holly book. Just say’n.
